About Our School
An institution of innovation.
Founded in 1952 by Rabbi Avrohom Kelman זצ” ל with the support of the Prospect Park shul, Bnos Leah Prospect Park has always been an institution of innovation — the first girls' school to offer classes from Kindergarten through 12th grade.
Bnos Leah was first to start a girls' Brachos Bee, first to stage a high school musical, and first to hold a school-wide Shabbaton — a legacy of firsts that continues today.
