About Our School

Founded in 2013, Bronx Academy for Software Engineering (BASE) is a public CTE high school offering a rigorous four-year pathway in software engineering. Our hands-on curriculum prepares students for college and careers in technology, social justice, and computer science—right here in the Bronx.
We believe in joyful, anti-racist learning that centers student voice, identity, and real-world problem-solving. Through transformative justice, work-based learning, and a commitment to equity, we empower students to become agents of change in their communities.
