BUGS — Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn
Urban Garden Charter.
Grades 6–8 in District 15. Building a greener, healthier, more sustainable world — one curious mind at a time.
Where it all began.
BUGS is the result of a five-year effort by local parents, educators, and professionals who came together to create an additional high-quality public middle school in District 15. Authorized by the New York State Board of Regents, BUGS welcomes students who share a passion for environmental, social, and economic sustainability.
Through hands-on learning and real-world problem solving, BUGS students develop the critical thinking, analytic, and communication skills to be creative and compassionate thinkers, doers, and sustainability change makers.
