About Our School
Where every voice shapes the future.
City-As-School is a progressive public high school in NYC’s West Village, serving juniors and seniors through small seminars and internships across all five boroughs. As part of the New York State Performance Standards Consortium, we replace high-stakes testing with rigorous academic portfolios—preparing students for college and careers on their own terms.
Our community thrives on freedom, trust, and responsibility, fostering open communication and personal accountability. From rooftop gardens to student-driven media projects, we empower students to explore their passions and define their own success.
