About Our School
Where every creator belongs.
Founded in 2024, Design Works High School is a public, unscreened 9–12 school in Downtown Brooklyn. Our signature design-thinking program empowers students to solve complex problems through collaboration, critique, and revision, preparing them for college, creative careers, and leadership in social justice.
In our inclusive community, students are known deeply and their voices are valued. Through industry partnerships, apprenticeships, and college coursework, we bridge learning inside and outside the classroom, ensuring every child graduates ready to pursue their passions.
