Founded in 1958, George L. Egbert Intermediate School 2 serves grades 6-8 with a rigorous academic program, including four Regents classes, and a commitment to social-emotional growth. Our 14:1 student-teacher ratio ensures personalized attention in every classroom.
From our award-winning Editorial and Podcast Clubs to championship flag football teams, we celebrate both achievement and community. Whether through the Ambassadors of Peace initiative or our annual Literary Day, Egbert I.S. 2 prepares students to be confident, compassionate leaders.
