About Our School
Where every scholar thrives.
Founded in 2005, Elijah Stroud Middle School 353 serves grades 6–8 with a focus on preparing students for the 21st century through rigorous academics and real-world mentorship. Our small size fosters deep relationships, ensuring no child is overlooked.
Rooted in Crown Heights, we celebrate diversity through cultural events like Hispanic Heritage Month and partnerships with inspirational Black leaders, from judges to law enforcement mentors. Our scholars explore the city—from the Hudson River to Howard University—turning NYC into their classroom.
