About Our School

Founded in 2002 as one of New York City’s nine specialized high schools, HSMSE serves grades 9–12 with a laser focus on mathematics, science, and engineering. Our project-based curriculum prepares students for top-tier universities and careers in STEM fields.
We believe every student deserves a challenging, supportive environment where they can explore their passions. From robotics competitions to research partnerships with City College, HSMSE fosters a community of thinkers, builders, and leaders.
