About Our School
Where every student is challenged to grow.
Founded in 1915 as the Bay Ridge High School for Girls and reimagined in 1985 as a coeducational hub of telecommunication, arts, and technology, HSTAT serves 1,300 students in grades 9–12. Our Small Learning Communities and early intervention programs ensure every student starts high school with confidence and support.
We are a community of lifelong learners who model growth mindset, respect, and kindness. Through rigorous academics, peer mentorship, and a focus on the whole child, we prepare students to address local and global challenges with curiosity and critical thinking.
