About Our School

Where every child belongs.

Founded in 2013, Hunter’s Point Community Middle School serves grades 6–8 with a rigorous, project-based curriculum that includes Regents courses in Living Environment and Algebra for all 8th graders. Our interdisciplinary approach extends beyond the classroom, fostering critical thinking, creativity, and real-world problem-solving.

Rooted in Long Island City, we are a community of learners, educators, and families committed to equity, inclusion, and dismantling systemic oppression. Our students collaborate, innovate, and grow in a supportive environment that prepares them for college, career, and active citizenship.
