About Our School
Where every story begins.
Founded in 2008 as NYC’s first CTE high school dedicated to advertising and media, IAM blends rigorous academics with real-world industry skills. Our students earn Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office certifications by junior year, preparing them for careers in a $2.6M P-TECH partnership with City Tech and the American Association of Advertising Agencies.
We empower students to become innovators through project-based learning, mentorship from industry leaders, and a curriculum that values creativity, perseverance, and teamwork. From storytelling in English to portfolio development in CTE, every class is designed to transform students into competitive candidates for the creative economy.

Career & Technical Education (CTE)
From video production to advanced website design, our CTE sequence—including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premier—gives students hands-on experience with industry-standard tools. Juniors earn certifications that make them stand out in college and career applications.

Through our $2.6M P-TECH partnership with City Tech and the 4A’s, students graduate with both a high school diploma and college credits—fast-tracking them into careers in advertising, media, and design.
