About Our School
Where every child belongs.
Founded in 1992 as New York City’s first public full-inclusion elementary school, The Children’s School serves Pre-K through 5th grade students from Brooklyn’s District 15 and citywide special education District 75 in a nurturing, team-taught environment.
We celebrate every identity and ability, fostering a community where differences in race, gender, income, and learning style are honored—and where literacy, the arts, and technology are woven into every lesson.
