Founded in 1992, I.S. 289 Hudson River Middle School serves 300 students in grades 6–8 with a signature program of inquiry-based learning, social activism, and authentic work that impacts real lives.
We celebrate diverse ideas and talents in a nurturing community where students take responsibility for their own education through self-initiation, reflection, and revision.
