About Our School
Where every newcomer belongs.
Founded in 1993, Manhattan International High School is a small, public high school serving 320 recently arrived English Language Learners. Our content-based ESL approach ensures students learn English through rigorous academics, not in isolation.
We believe language is a bridge, not a barrier. Through interdisciplinary clusters, cooperative learning, and portfolio assessments, students gain the skills to succeed in college and beyond.
