About Our School

Where every scholar thrives.

Founded in 2001, Mott Hall II is a public middle school (grades 6–8) in Manhattan’s Upper West Side, preparing today’s scholars to lead in a connected world. Our inquiry-driven curriculum and International Baccalaureate (IB) Candidate program foster critical thinking, creativity, and global citizenship.

We believe in the power of community, equity, and joy — where every child is seen, challenged, and celebrated. From Spelling Bee champions to international exchanges, our scholars grow as leaders, innovators, and compassionate citizens.
