About Our School

Where every child belongs.

At The School for Inquiry and Social Justice, we empower Bronx middle schoolers in grades 6–8 to ask big questions, think critically, and act with courage. Through culturally responsive curricula and hands-on programs like our Hydroponics Lab and Dual Language track, we prepare students for high school, college, and careers—while nurturing their social-emotional growth and cultural connectedness.

Our vibrant community embraces diverse identities and perspectives, ensuring every student feels safe, valued, and inspired to achieve their dreams. From Amplify Desmos Math to our brand-new Drama Program, we foster curiosity, creativity, and the confidence to change the world.
