About Our School
Where every child belongs.
Founded in 1987, NYC Lab School for Collaborative Studies is a full-inclusion public high school serving grades 9–12. Our signature program—collaborative, project-based deep learning—challenges students to reflect, question, and advocate for themselves and others.
We embrace students from diverse backgrounds who demonstrate a passion for learning, nourishing each student socially, emotionally, and academically. At Lab, we are motivated by community, family, love, and joy, not competition or fear.
