About Our School

Where every child becomes a leader.

Founded in 1904, PS 145K serves Pre-K through 5th grade with a Magnet School for Leadership through Engineering—a hands-on program that turns classrooms into design studios and playgrounds into innovation labs.

We believe in learning by doing, whether it’s coding robots, building bridges from popsicle sticks, or leading peer mentorship projects. Our diverse Bushwick community is our greatest strength.
