Founded in 1954, The Edith K. Bergtraum School (PS 165Q) is a vibrant K–5 public school in Fresh Meadows, Queens. We nurture curious, creative learners through a rich arts program, daily Social Emotional Learning (SEL), and a curriculum aligned with NYC’s highest standards.
Our community thrives on partnership. With a dedicated PTA, School Leadership Team, and a decade of leadership by Principal Tiffany L. Davis-Nealy, we ensure every student feels safe, valued, and empowered to reach their full potential.
