Founded in 1987, PS 253 The School of Multicultural Humanities serves Pre-K through 5th grade students in the heart of Gravesend, Brooklyn. Our signature humanities program integrates global perspectives into every lesson, fostering empathy, critical thinking, and a lifelong love of learning.
At PS 253, we believe education is a journey of discovery. Our diverse community—representing over 30 languages—creates a dynamic environment where students learn from one another, building friendships and understanding that last a lifetime.
