For over a century, P.S. 39 The Francis J. Murphy Jr. School has been a cornerstone of Staten Island’s Stapleton neighborhood, serving students from Pre-K through 5th grade. Our mission is to embrace the needs of each child, meeting every unique learner where they are and propelling them forward with a strong foundation in academics, mutual respect, and student agency.
