About Our School

Where every child belongs.

Founded in 1974, PS3 Charrette School serves Pre-K through 5th grade with a hands-on, integrated arts curriculum that meets rigorous NY State standards. Our vibrant Greenwich Village campus fosters independence, creativity, and a love of learning through collaboration across ages and backgrounds.

At PS3, we believe community matters. Parents, teachers, and students work together to create a school where respect for individuality and shared goals shape daily life. From our Science and Artists in Residence program to partnerships with Alvin Ailey Dance Theater and the Whitney Museum, we inspire children to become lifelong learners and compassionate global citizens.
