About Our School
Where every student builds a future.
Founded in 2011 through a groundbreaking partnership between the NYC Department of Education, CUNY, and IBM, P-TECH is NYC’s first 9–14 early-college high school. Students earn a high school diploma and a free Associate degree from New York City College of Technology in just six years—while gaining real-world experience through paid internships and mentorships.
At P-TECH, we believe education should open doors, not close them. Our graduates are first in line for careers at IBM and other leading tech firms, or they continue their education at top universities like Cornell and Spelman.
