Founded in Astoria and accredited by NYSED, Saint Demetrios is the only Greek-American school in the United States serving students from Preschool through High School — a rigorous, well-balanced college-preparatory program rooted in the Orthodox Christian faith and Hellenic ideals.
Guided by the ancient charge “Αἰὲν ἀριστεύειν” — Ever to Excel, our students grow academically, socially, and spiritually. Nearly 100% of graduates go on to four-year colleges, with recent acceptances to Ivy League universities.
