About Our School
Where every student discovers their voice.
Founded in 2004, the Urban Assembly School for Law and Justice is a small, law-themed public high school in downtown Brooklyn serving grades 9–12. Our signature program—learning through the lens of law—develops analytical thinking, writing, and civic engagement in every student.
We believe education is an act of social justice. Our community challenges and supports students with individualized college and career prep, robust enrichment, and a curriculum that respects their right to learn at high levels.
