About Our School
Where every child belongs.
Founded in 2013, The Emerson School serves Harlem’s K–8 scholars with daily literacy and math that feels relatable and fun. Science, social studies, and art are woven with reading strategies to create an interactive, safe space where students explore what learning means to them.
We cultivate independent thinkers who can explain their knowledge to others. Our partnerships with families and community organizations ensure every scholar is held to high expectations—and every voice is celebrated.
