Founded in 1993 through a historic partnership with Abyssinian Development Corporation and New Visions for Public Schools, Thurgood Marshall Academy serves grades 6–12 in the heart of Central Harlem. Our signature social change curriculum prepares students for higher education and the workforce through real-world learning and community engagement.
We believe education should reflect the spirit of Justice Thurgood Marshall—championing equity, opportunity, and positive social change. From middle school advisory to high school internships, our programs foster both academic growth and personal development in a safe, supportive environment.
