Founded in 1992, Tompkins Square Middle School serves grades 6–8 with a rigorous, project-based curriculum that honors individual learning styles. Our interdisciplinary modules—from mock trials to science fairs—spark curiosity and build confidence in a safe, diverse community.
We celebrate the diversity of all our members, fostering ethical, self-reflective thinkers who question, create, and thrive together. From advisory circles to restorative practices, we nurture the whole child in a brave space.
