About Our School

Where future first responders begin their journey.

Founded in 2013, Urban Assembly Early College High School of Emergency Medicine is a public CTE high school serving grades 9–12. Our signature program prepares students for careers in Emergency Management through dual enrollment with Borough of Manhattan Community College, earning up to 31 college credits and New York State EMT certification.

We are a continuous learning community invested in developing personal responsibility, empowerment, and the skills needed for both college and career success. Through internships, simulations, and industry partnerships, students gain real-world experience and a deep understanding of the field.

Dual Enrollment with BMCC

Students earn up to 31 college credits toward an Applied Associates (A.A.S) in Paramedicine while completing high school, with the opportunity to become New York State Certified EMTs.
