About Our School

Founded in 2014, Urban Assembly Unison School is a small, public middle school in Bedford-Stuyvesant serving grades 6–8. We combine rigorous academics with a Career & Technology Exploration model to prepare students for high-wage, 21st-century careers—all within a nurturing community that values equity, social justice, and real-world learning.
As a proud NYC Community School, we provide holistic support—from free eyeglasses to mental health services—so every student can thrive. Our partnerships with local organizations ensure Unison Trailblazers receive the best opportunities to grow as active, engaged citizens.
